Dear all,

1st Fressingfield Scout Group would like to place on record a huge thank you to the Mid Suffolk District Council for their recent donation of £3,253.00. This money contributes to our "Connect and Communicate" project.

With this donation, we have been able to purchase:

• BT WiFi on a 24 month contract
• 7x Chromebooks for the young people
• 5x Android Tablets for the young people
• 1x Leader's Laptop
• An HP Printer with paper and inks
• A secure laptop and tablet locker
• Senso Security Software (1 Year)

With these new devices, protecting the young people against unsuitable content is crucial and we have thoroughly secured these devices. Senso's security package allows us to block all inappropiate content, logs all user interactions, and allows leaders to view all screens at once using the leader laptop.

In order to configure some of the security measures in place, leaders now have access to Google Workspace. This is a suite of applications which can help improve leadership efficiency and simplifies contacting sections.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to update you on our latest digital changes which include: online payments for subscriptions and camps, new leader email addresses, as well as our new website!
