Remembrance Day Service - Sunday 13th November

Dear Parent,
Remembrance Day Service – Sunday 13th November 2022 (1015-1215hrs):
Fressingfield Leaders, Explorers, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels will be joining the Royal British Legion and others for the Annual Remembrance Sunday Day Service on Sunday November 13th, in Fressingfield. We will meet on the Fox and Goose Inn car park at 1015hrs.
It would be great if we could have a good turnout for the service, it is our expectation that members of the Group will participate in this annual national day of remembrance and reflection. All will be required to wear full uniform with preferably dark blue trousers and black shoes. Poppies to be worn.
A service in church, where members of the Scout Group will play key roles, will be followed by a short parade to the War Memorial and the laying of wreaths. All parents and carers are warmly invited to attend.
We also have smaller contingents at Hoxne and Laxfield Remembrance Sunday Services.
Hoxne are meeting in the carpark behind the Church at 10.20 and will finish at 11.45, we will lay a wreath at the war memorial which is inside the Church.
Laxfield are meeting at the Church at 9.50 for a 10 o'clock service. Then at the war memorial at 10.50 for the wreath laying. There is only roadside parking available.
